iCloud problems syncing Pages with iMac and iPad

Hello

I'm having problems syncing Pages documents in iCloud.

If I create a document on my iPad (iOS 7) it saves correctly and is there waiting for me next time I need to open it. It also appears in my Pages documents if I log onto iCloud.com via my iMac (10.9.3). However, if I go to Pages on the iMac and click "open", the required document isn't there.

Oddly, the converse situation also appears to be true. Documents created and saved on the iMac appear, as you would expect, in the Pages window and are also available when I log in to iCloud via Safari. But they do not appear when I open Pages on the iPad.

This is a new development - up until recently everything has been running perfectly. The only recent system change has been to install the 10.9.3,update of Mavericks.

Please help!

Thanks

Dave

Ok, if the problem is with your Mac, and you've already tried resetting the documents & data service and unchecking/rechecking documents and data syncing in System Preferences>iCloud, you should try signing completely out of your iCloud account, then signing back in (unless you already have). To do this, go to System Preferences>iCloud, click Sign Out, choose Delete at all of the prompts (your data will still be in iCloud), restart your Mac, then go back and sign back in. Your iCloud data will download back to your Mac when you sign back in.

Confirm that Documents & Data is still checked, and click Options... next to Documents & Data and confirm that Pages is also checked. Then test Pages iCloud syncing again.

Still doesn't work. But I have noticed that when Documents & Data is unchecked in preferences, if I'm in Pages and click File/Open, a window opens containing all the files etc that should be in iCloud. I can open these files, even if not connected to the internet. The drop down menu to the left of the search box says that the window is displaying stuff stored in iCloud - but it can't be, it must be on the iMac. Does that make sense?

Cheers
