    The answer to such a question requires

    knowledge lacking in your post, such as:

     

    What application, Browser, or OS X are you

    using, when this matter is a necessity?

     

    There are several different cursor bar settings

    between those possible in OS X and those

    within application windows or browsers.

     

    Are you using an old vintage pre-2006 Mac?

     

    A PowerBook is such an ancient device &

    would be limited in software by its hardware.

    If not an old PowerPC G3 or G4, then you

    have posted in this area by accident.

     

    Please provide more information.
