I have uploaded audio files (.mp3) to the Course Manager. Later, I find that they are no longer listed among "Materials". Why did they disappear?

Q: why do some of my audio files disappear from Course Manager after being uploaded?
If you navigate to the main page (the "dashboard"), then click "All Materials", do your files show up in the list?
