Mail attachments and email trail viewed in Outlook

I use my Apple Mac for business. The rest of my corporation uses Windows PC - Outlook with our Exchange server.

One of the complaints I hear from coworkers and others, the reply emails from my Apple Mail have a series of attachments, as compared to replies they receive from other Windows PC - Outlook users.

Basically the Apple Mail with Mavericks and every previous Apple OS version, do not send reply emails like Windows PC - Outlook. Where Windows PC - Outlook sends the reply e-mail as a single e-mail, Apple Mail send the reply and all other previous emails are attachments.

This makes reading my reply emails very difficult, hence the complaints I get from coworkers and others.

I found the Airmail from Bloop, does send reply emails as a single e-mail similar to Windows PC - Outlook. However, this program does have shortcomings compared to Apple Mail.

My question is when will Apple address this so replies are sent in a similar format to Windows PC - Outlook and Airmail? If Airmail can do it, then surely Apple can make Mail do it as well.

Thanks,

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), Mail

I have replied to myself. On a Windows - PC with Outlook, my replies are in the format I mentioned Reply message but with multiple attachments.

Apple Mail does it in this format as well as well as Microsoft Outlook for Mac does it as well.

Airmail does not however. This is pointing to an issue with the way the two fore mentioned email client send reply emails.

Additionally, many users complain of the way Apple Mail send attachments. There are 3rd party add ons to try and tame them for Apple Mail.

Odd, my copy of Mail, which is the same as yours, doesn't do that. The replies are one continuous stream of text.

But, Outlook is known to be one of the worst email standards-compliant email clients ever made.

There are many email clients that will alter their composition to be Microsoft compliant, and Apple has done a bit of the same with Mail, but it seems every time they try to comply with Microsoft instead of the email standards, Microsoft breaks something else in the latest version of Outlook.
