The flash on my photobooth is on but everytime i take a picture, the screen is flashing but it doesn't change anything on the picture. it happen after i upgraded it to OS x Maverick.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
I've also the same problem on iMac and have posted it. Seems others have, as well.
Help... same problem. Flash is activated menu bar, camera counts down 3,2,1 then it flashes, but the pictures are completely dark as if no flash at all.
Any patch? Another program other than Photo Booth that provides the same product... a picture?
Any reported hardware issues?

Also, I updated to 10.9.4 Maverick yesterday (just released). No change to the Photo Booth flash issue with the update.
BTW - no new or upgrade process issues going from 10.9.3 to 10.9.4 that I've discovered - yet.
Thanks, Eric. Re: Apple monitoring, sort of said that "tongue-in-cheek" as I realize that would be a huge chore. But, as you suggested, I'd already submitted a "feed back" and hope others will do the same.
Problem is still there in 10.10.1 I'm sure it's just a sync problem. Yosemite is such a kludge and runs so much slower than earlier OS that the screen flashes before the camera image is read into memory.
I bought my Mac exactly one year ago and the flash worked for the first two weeks then it independently decided to not work. Now I can't remember if I did any upgrade, but reading all the answers I think so. Anyway, one year later it stills doesn't work
I now suspect the up-grade to Maverick where iSight is replaced with FaceTime HD camera, the "flash" feature is not included.
I doubt it's a hardware problem as it worked with previous OSX version on my iMac. (and I wonder; does anyone from Apple ever read these posts...?)
Nowadays I´m in OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan and the screen flash still does not working.
