What is a .wpd file??

I just received an expected file via email and I can't open it. Does anyone know what application will open a .wpd file? I've tried Word, Excel, Acrobat and Preview.

Word Perfect?!? Gawd Almighty! I haven't thought about that one in years. Nothing on this computer will open it...

Hi! .wpd is a Corel Word Perfect file.

You might try switching the .wpd with .doc and see if that works. Sometimes that works.

Corel stopped making Word Perfect for Macs after Apple went to OS X.

Thanks Brian - good suggestion! I tried it (yeah, sometimes it does work), but no luck on this one. I'll ask the sender to try and save it as a .pdf and resend...
