quicktime not working in internet explorer 11

I have same issue with Windows 7 64 bit.

latest QT is installed and is enabled in IE 11, but does not show on the loaded list of items.

What do you exactly mean by loaded list of items? I am on Windows 7 64 bit with latest QT & iTunes. Both are working fine. Other than in certain browsers that have stopped the use of plug-ins or add-ons in favor of HTML5

In IE Explorer 11, tools/manage add-ons/currently loaded add-ons, there is no Quick Time.

There is a voice mail player in ATT that tries to use Quick Time. When I click on play, it tells me that I need to load Quick Time.

Quick Time and ITunes are installed with latest versions and seem to work fine other than functioning as a player from within IE 11.

Is there a compatibility problem between IE 11 and the latest versions of Quick Time. Is there a fix?

In Manage add-ons what if you expand the menu that shows Currently loaded add-ons to All add-ons. Does QT show up in there?

Yes it does shown in all add-ons.

However, if it click on something on a web page that requires QT, I get a message saying I need to install QT.

Well that link wasn't very good, especially my post. I seem to think the problem is that browsers are doing away with plug-ins or add-ons such as QuickTime.

You could look that up online. So my guess is that it is browser related. Now some of the browsers can still push thru a plug-in. Try switching browsers to see if you have any luck.

I had the same problem trying to get my Rogers voicemail to play sound with the QuickTime Plugin using Internet Explorer 11. When I added the Rogers website to the Compatibility View Settings, everything worked just fine.
