How do I set up speed dial on my iPhone 5s

There is no "speed dial;" however, you can add phone numbers to your Favorites list (the star icon in the phone app) and tap those to dial them automatically.

You can also use Siri to dial. It's how I place the vast majority of my calls. One touch dialing.

I never think about using Siri! I really should be utilizing her more. I just feel so funny talking to my phone, I guess...

It does take a little getting used to, but, especially with the right BT headset, it's great! Tap a button on the headset, make a call without every taking out your phone. And you don't have to talk unnaturally loud to Siri. I doubt people realize I'm talking to the phone as opposed to through the phone.

Add a phone number to your contacts list. Scroll to the bottom of the contact page and tap Add to Favorites. Select the phone number you want to add.

Tap the phone button, tap the Star. There are your favorites. You can edit the favorites as well. Tap Edit and drag the names up or down to organize them the way you want.

This morning, I overheard my boss telling a customer and another employee that I was crazy. But I think that was because I spend an hour teaching a panicked person how to use her new iPhone.

You can add an icon to your home screen to dial a person.

Go to your Safari browser and type:

(phone #).tel.qlnk.net Example 1111111111.tel.qlnk.net

Hit cancel and then export to home screen. You can edit the name you save it to as the name of the contact. You will then have an icon with that name that will allow you to access that web link which will place the call. It's two clicks and not really that much different than Favorites.. but it does allow you to have icons on your screen to access for your speed dials..(this was what I was used to coming over from Android so I like this method).
