Need help with the headphones

Im Facing quite some prob with the headphones recently.. i dnt knw why but there is lot of scratching noise coming from the stock headphones of my ipod 5g.
I have a feeling it might be because of dust which might have gone into it while i was driving. but i dnt knw i tried using other headphones and they work just fine.
Is there anyway to get them to work again. it been only 1 month since i bought them. dint expect this to happen.

Plz help...
Thanks ..

AMD, Windows XP Pro, ipod 5g.

you'd be better off with a different set of earphones anyway, as you can see, the stock ones are crap. i'm sure there is no way to fix them.

you mean the headphone issued with our ipods are not of good quality and jus generic? 'coz the other end of my headphone stopped working today. and im ****** off that i can only hear sounds from one end of it. i wonder if this is covered by the warranty. is it? do they replace the headphone? thanks!

P.S. my ipod is 3 months old by the way.

i'm from the philippines, by the way, and i don't know where my dad bought my ipod and we already dont know where we placed the receipt. should i go to the apple center here for replacement? is that the right way to do it? or is it the distributor's job to replace it? how do i use the warranty without the receipt? how can i prove that it was bought last may this year and still under warranty?

i knw i can get it replace, but the problem is i bought it in california when i was in US and now am in India where apple does not have its own branch.. so how to get it replaced ? moreover i have seen that the problem is comin from plastic speaker ( the one attached to the magnet, the which vibrates.).. i think it got disturbed due to wind and got deformed.. so i just blew air on it and it improved... anyway is there anyway i can get it replaced now dat am in india?

Thanks a ton for the help!
