I have a Samsung hd TV I have tried numerous times to play my iPad mini through my tv it keeps saying wise link under applications and then a message comes up saying check up on USB device not sure what I can do? I want to play my iPad videos through my tv can someone help??

You can either buy the adapter, plug one end of the HDMI cable into that and the other end into your TV. Or you can purchase an Apple TV http://store.apple.com/us/buy-appletv/appletv and connect via WiFi.
You may need a Samsung app.

Those work the opposite direction Tom, they allow you to play video on the iPad from the TV and the app allows you to control the TV turning your device into a remote control for the TV. But it won't allow streaming from the iPad.
