I have a Samsung hd TV I have tried numerous times to play my iPad mini through my tv it keeps saying wise link under applications and then a message comes up saying check up on USB device not sure what I can do? I want to play my iPad videos through my tv can someone help??

That isn't an adapter it is a cable service.

Cisco is on the black box for my tv
Through the side on the tv has a jack plug opening
I know the TV has input, but how are you connecting the other end of your cable to your iPad mini.

You can either buy the adapter, plug one end of the HDMI cable into that and the other end into your TV. Or you can purchase an Apple TV http://store.apple.com/us/buy-appletv/appletv and connect via WiFi.

Those work the opposite direction Tom, they allow you to play video on the iPad from the TV and the app allows you to control the TV turning your device into a remote control for the TV. But it won't allow streaming from the iPad.
wise link what can I do to fix this and make my iPad play through my tv??
