How do you cut, copy, and paste on pages?

I am refering to the online pages
Do you mean the iCloud Pages? It would help to be clear about what you mean. If you mean the iCloud Pages, then you do the same as with any other document. Select text then use the keyboard shortcuts - CMD-C for copy, CMD-V to paste, and CMD-X to cut and save. Use DELETE to just cut or remove.
Why don't you read the Get Help section, in 'online pages'? You'll find it under the Query button.
