It still wont connect. Can someone help me?

I've had windows 8 for a while now, and iTunes is now getting on my nerves... Every time I go to plug in my iPhone 4s, iTunes tells me I need to have the 64 bit version installed. I've un-installed it and re-installed it countless times, deleted everything from app data, and roaming about apple, clean installed it, reset the driver, diverted the driver to the 64 version of the driver in the x86 files. I'm about to blow my computer up... Please help! D:
