Must be missing the obvious, I am having trouble trying to work out creating a group of contacts. I have them created in Outlook, but for some reason cannot import/Sync with my iPad. My contacts came in fine from outlook, but not the group. I am trying to update iTunes on my PC and it fails, so I figure that may be the problem. Any suggestions welcome.

You are not doing anything wrong. Unfortunately, you cannot import groups or create groups in the built in mail app on the iPad. You can create groups in iCloud.com and sync those groups to your iPad, but you still cannot email to those groups with the built in mail app.
There are third party email apps that will allow you to create groups and email to them.

Many thanks and apologies, saw a further item which had I read earlier would have saved you having to repeat the information I saw. I have now d/l the MailShot app and it seems the perfect solution. Apologies and thanks again.
