How do I copy or move pictures from my iPad to an external hard drive?

My wife's ipad 2 wi-fi has 105g of photos on it. I would like to move or copy the pictures to my external hard drive - to free up space on her ipad. Help!

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 7.0.6

The iPad has no connection for an external hard drive. You could and should save your photos to the computer for backup. I think you might do a Google search for wireless hard drives as I believe there are some available.

If they are in the Camera Roll, then sync it with iPhoto which will transfer the contents of the Camera Roll. Otherwise, you can use third-party software such as:

Phone to Mac - Pod to Mac
