I have used this drive for a little while now. It now won't be read by a my Mac Pro or iMac. I'm about ready to take the drive apart. I have tried all USB ports and different power sources. The blue light comes on the drive, the drive spins, but the computer won't read the drive.

Does the HD appear in Disk Utility
Does it appear under USB in system report?
Next, as you suggest, would be to take it out of its enclosure and try another HD in the inclosure or try the HD in another enclosure/adopter
It does not show up on either unfortunately.
Shoot I was afraid of that. Do you know of any documentation of how to take apart this harddrive? It's a DWC120.
FInally, I ripped the Toshiba casing open, and moved the drive to a Rosewill External casing. Now,it's reading but up pops this message.
I hit ignore and move over to my Disk Utility.
I find that the drive is now MS-DOS. This drive was already formatted, had work on it and now is formatted to something else.
Strange. I woud reformat and see if it work in the Rosewell enclosure. Then move to original enclosure
My toshiba HD 2tb drive isn't found in my finder or disk utility.
