Iphone limits how many photos I can view on friends Facebook timelines.

When I view pictures that have been posted on someone’s timeline on my iphone 5s I can only see up to 12 pictures. After that that it quits allowing me to swipe which makes it impossible to view the rest of the photos. Why is that? My wife goes to the same exact place on her Android and can scroll through and see all the picture’s that have been posted. My iphone stops at 12 no matter whose status I look at including my own. They might have posted 30 new photos in a status update, yet my phone only lets me see 12. Again, my wife on her Android phone can see all 30. Thoughts?
