Hi, I have having ongoing trouble with green frames in the export. I have read it could be a rendering problem, however i do not see it when playback in the time line, ONLY when after I complete the edit.
Ideas?

This usually is related to some form of mpeg 4 files.
Try this: locate one of the files where the green frames tend to appear, and use MPEG Streamclip to convert that file to ProRes. Import this new version and do a replace edit to substitute this for the old one in the timeline. Export. Are the green frames gone?
Incidentally: what is the source of those clips, and what are their specs? Open on in Quicktime Player, press Cmd-I and post a screenshot of the movie inspector.

My problem is reimporting it, is its the final edit and music cue has been composed for the entire clip. It would be incredibly time consuming trying to match up the single clips (as its cut up quite a bit)
I have read about deleting render files and re-rendering the entire film? any idea specificially what files i need to delete for this to happen?
Delete all the render files. It's a function in the file menu.
Is the media QuickTime? You got the edit as single file with the cuts? Where are you trying to go with the export? What share option are you using?

Yes they are .mov files I captured. I imported it into FCPX then edited it within. So my media is the origninal media.
My previous comment meant that it is the final version of a film where the audio mix was done based (externally using the WAV file from the final edit, therefore changing some of the edit by even a small amount, would thrown all my audio out.
Using the master file export Apple Pro Res 422 (HQ)
I'll export again and see if it has fixed it.
Original file was .mov. Shot with a Nikon D800.
Is this the current version of the software? Does the green flashing happen in the same place every time?
