iphone4s calendar wont sync with mac 10.6.8 laptop

my iphone 4s calendar wont sync with mac 10.6.8 laptop ....it wont update changes i've made on the mac and sync to my phone

iPhone 4S, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Thanks for the question. Are you using iCloud to sync your calendars? or syncing through iTunes? If it is the latter, see the following resources:
