Before Maverick, I used to have a local AddressBook (which is still in my library/application support/AddresssBook)
but now with ICloud, the only AddressBook that appears is the one located on ICloud
and I can't seem to access the one in my own library (which has contacts non on the ICloud one)
how can I access both
When I click on the ABBU file on my computer, it wants to replace the whole ICloud address book

Then try going to System Preferences/iCloud and stop syncing.
Then try loading the contacts.
Then re-sync.

System asks me if I want to back up
If I say yes
when I open AB again, I now have 2 ICloud Address books
even if I'm not connected to the Internet
but the AB on my local disk is nowhere to be found ??
This is getting out of hands !
I now have 2 ICloud contact lists which means that everything is in double
Can't get rid of either of them
Any search now takes forever as the ball keeps rolling and rolling
I suppose the best thing to do would be to trash both contact lists and re-create from ICloud

Your computer.
Stop iCloud syncing, but don't backup. Delete the 2 iCloud accounts and the try loading the contacts on your computer.
