How to setup iPad Email to access school email hosted via google

Has anyone been able to set this up ?

I would like to setup my email account which is in the form of

firstname.lastname@education.nsw.gov.au

Normally the email is accessed via the following portal which seems to be SSO for the google hosted service;

https://student.det.nsw.edu.au/

I tried several things including adding a google account, then exchange account, with no luck.

From speaking with one of the teachers at the school, it seems that students email is hosted via gmail.

Hi,

I dont know if you still need the answer but anyways... If you try setting it up by the 'Google' option and enteryou school email adress and password from there it works! On my ipad, it redirected me to the 'student portal login page' and i just entered as usual and it worked!

You can easily login with email services. Try to provide your email address and password. Setup account with IMAP service. Ask your school network admin for IMAP access details and port number. After that you will be successfully able to log in with your email.

Another method is that directly visit to any browser and login from Google mail services as you login from your PC

But according to me best option is setup account with IMAP or POP3 option to email so anytime when you got new mail easily read it or also enable synchronization settings
