Is it possible to open up an imac G4 to clean inside it.

Hello, I can't afford to take my iMac into an apple centre I need the fan cleaning, does anyone know if it's possible to open the case so I clean the fan myself at home.

I want to clean the fan because I can see through the small holes at the top of the base that the fan is clogged with dust, it works ok but is making a loud noise, I had a PC and cleaning the dust from the fan did the trick so I want to try it on my iMac.

It's a iMac G4 20" flat panel about 3 years old.

Hello,

Yes, you can open the iMac G4 yourself and clean it if you like. Just watch how everything comes out, and put it all back in just the same way.
