Can I block all other bluetooth devices when using wireless mighty mouse?

I am a teacher and have just started to use my iBook with a digital projector in my classes. Everything was going great and I love the freedom to wander round the room that the wireless Mighty Mouse has given me. However, some of the kids realised to day that they can switch on the bluetooth option on their mobile phones and attempt to communicate with my iBook.

Today's lesson was a nightmare as kids kept initiating transfer requests. Is there a way that I can stop these from appearing on my screen? With the projector connected, the whole class can see them and they see it as a great source of amusement!

Is it as simple as switching off the "discoverable" option or do I need to do more to ensure no messages ever appear on screen?

Thanks in advance for saving my sanity!

Thats funny, but probably not from your view point.

Go to System Preferences -> Bluetooth, under the Settings tab turn off Discoverable.

Then select the Devices tab and add your Mouse as a favorite.

Finally - go to the Sharing tab, make sure file transfer, file exchage and PDA sync services are off. (as long as you don't use any of those yourself.) and check the Require pairing box on all.

Hope that helps. If not, set up a mock airline security check and collect all electronic devices at the door.
