how do I open a .txt document in iCloud?
On my Mac, I saved a document using TextEdit. It saved to iCloud. How do I get to it to open it in Pages?

Whilst you can save documents to iCloud using TextEdit, you can't actually access them through iCloud.com

I'm confused by what you are asking. Your title asks how to open a .txt document in iCloud? Meanwhile your post asks how to open it in Pages? Two different questions from what I can tell.
I don't see any mention of .txt document. You can't save TextEdit files as .txt files. And Pages can't open .rtf files.

Do you not see the ".txt" in the Subject line of the posting?
A main purpose of TextEdit is to create .txt files. Are you not able to do that with yours?

Thank you for pointing that out, I did not notice the Subject line.
I can't save TextEdit files as .txt files as per screenshot:
Before you do Save, you need to do Format > Make Plain Text. .txt is for Plain Text and you have it set to Rich Text.
Thank you again, that worked. I hope my first response to OP still stands – after all this is the 'iWork for iCloud beta' forum.
Sure, you can save TextEdit files as .txt: Format > Make Plain Text. Such files can be saved with any plain text file type such as txt, html, py, java, etc.
