Siri problem, removing girlfriend status.

For the love of god I get the weirdest error.

I added my gf Liz as girlfriend, but Siri would not pronounce her name with emoji which I added so that I don't send her a text I might regret by accident.

So I changed the name and put emoji in the last name field. Siri would not pronounce the name either but now there is a problem, now I see two saved names and Siri says "which girlfriend"

I deleted emoji and just left Liza, now it's three girlfriends, one contact, no way of removing the information. In my girlfriends contact information there is absolutely no indication that she is my girlfriend in any of the fields even when I press "edit"

How the hеll do I fix this?

Delete All contacts containing "Liza" and/or "girlfriend."

The question "Who's my girlfriend" is something only you should answer.

No what you said is wrong, basically Siri takes my own contact information and fuses it with relationships, but it ***** because every time I ask navigate to my mom it asks me who is your mom, even if I told her 3 times already, same for girlfriend, Siri doesn't remember, asks every time, and saves every time, and if name changes there will be "which girlfriend" or "which mom"

Well, I don't have a girlfriend so I cannot be sure about adding that, but I have a spouse and children, and their status is added to their contact, and if you go into your contact which should display the word ME beside it in the contacts app, if you scroll to the bottom, you should see those people linked in relationships. You should be able to edit those links. They are identified as Linked contacts. Edit the girlfriend ones out.

Siri doesn't remember "relationships." It goes strictly by what is in the Contact entry under that name. The only thing Siri "learns" is how to understand the pronunciation of a name (in contacts)

FYI, Siri doesn't speak emoji

ChrisJ4203, you actually know what you're talking about, but I figured it out myself too, I had two contacts for myself only one had "me" but I renamed it and made it into my moms account so basically I was trying to make me my own mother, stupid Siri, this is a bit confusing and needs outside the box thinkingb when you mess up, so I fixed everything and only one girlfriend is added lol

Incorrect. It's all or none for Siri speaking a name. If you don't want to use her last name and speak/understand her first name only, leave the last name blank.

Well as I stated I need something in my peripheral vision to remind me it's my girlfriend, I've accidentally texted people things which weren't meant for them it's a common occurrence thus I need the emoji
