Are you trying to make your computer a 'new, out-of-the-box' machine?
If so, follow the instructions here -> http://www.thesafemac.com/how-to-prepare-your-mac-for-sale/.

No I just want to erase everything. When I clicked reinstall a error popes up and won't let me download maverick
OliverGG,
which model MacBook Pro do you have, and which version of OS X is currently installed on it?
I can't see it because my screen is stuck at the reinstall os x screen.I'm on iPad right now
OliverGG,
if you’re not sure which model MacBook Pro you have, look at its serial number. If it has eleven characters, write down the last three of them; if it has twelve, write down the last four. Please include those last three or four characters in your reply; they can be used to determine which model you have.
Have you ever upgraded its installed version of OS X, or have you only run Software Update to perform in-version updates of its originally installed version of OS X?
I can't really do anything at the screen I Am on
OliverGG,
none of the information which I’d requested in my last reply requires any screen interaction.
I can't really do anything besides look at reinstall os x and click the continued button which doesn't work in my case
OliverGG,
what is preventing you from being able to copy the last few characters of your MacBook Pro’s serial number from its case? What is preventing you from answering whether you have ever upgraded OS X on your MacBook Pro or not?
My screen is locked on the reinstall os x screen and does not allow me to look at anything
OliverGG,
your screen has nothing to do with getting the information which I’ve requested. You don’t need to look at your screen to get that information. Your screen is not needed to answer these questions.
