Came here looking for exactly the same thing. Honestly, my child knows exactly where my phone is 100% of the time. Even when I have lost it. I can't hide it or distract from it without an almighty tantrum. He has now discovered how to bring up the camera (and take photos) and notification and control menus. He has locked my phone out for 10 minutes (I think there is another step before the 10 minute lockout). Most worryingly, he has figured out that he can get a "response" from the phone by calling 999 on the emergency menu.

so, I doubt Apple would ever read this, or even implement it. Here is my suggestion to Apple. Similar to the two stage authentication that is currently in use (on everything). After number has been dialed, and the call button pressed, put a random 6 digit code on screen and say "type this number in to continue to dial". User has to put in the correct number to continue.
