Q: Wifi constantly disconnecting
So I bought a new MacBook Pro 2012 13" from Apple's online store and have had troubles with the wifi ever since I got it. The issue is that when i'm connected to my home wifi, I will have a stable Internet connection for about 2 minutes before pages would stop loading although I maintained a 5 bar signal strength. This happened in multiple browsers and other Internet using applications. I was on chat support with Apple for 2 months which was past the 90 day support but they allowed due to the fact that it was the same issue throughout. Through the chat support, a lot of software troubleshooting was done which includes SMC rest, PRAM reset, Safe Mode, different user, different networks, Permissions Repair and Apple Hardware Tests. They then diagnosed the problem as a hardware issue and told me to get it checked out by an Authorised Service Center. So I got dad to take it for me while I was at school and he was in and out within an hour, he told me that they said that the Internet wouldn't work because my router is too old and my laptop is too new. Seeing as my dad had a newer laptop than me and had no issues at all, I thought it was pretty silly but all the same, tried some different, newer routers. The connection seemed to stay connected a while longer but the same issue. I decided to go back to my old router (Belkin Wireless G around 2005) and ended up using my old Mac with its wifi to ethernet sharing capabilities to use the internet through an ethernet cable on my new Mac. After talking to Apple Support some more, they recommended I do a OS reinstall, just to be sure. So i went to boot from an external drive with Mavericks on it so i could install from a disk image instead of downloading and decided to try the internet connection through the "different" OS and the same is occuring. So i skipped the OS install and am back to square one except that now, the network will drop out completely and not be connected at all. I am completely puzzled as to why this Mac cant use the internet properly and everything else in the house can and if it is a hardware problem, why the guy said i needed a new router. Would should be my next move?

Then you do have a hardware fault.
