I have a book, soon to be published through Lulu.com, which will also be on ibooks. I understand that I can obtain up to 50 codes for promotional / review use. Do I have to submit the book again on my own to be able to generate these codes or can I somehow do it through Lulu? To clarify, can I somehow CLAIM / ATTACH my book to my Apple ID and generate these codes or what is the usual way to do this? Thanks
The promo codes are obtained via iTunesConnect > Manage your Books - select the book page in question!
Do you have the iTunesAccount for your books or your publisher?
If its the latter request they draw off the codes and supply the numbers to you.
You do not have to draw all at once, you can pull down in batches, however once issued, the codes have a life span and cannot be "stored" ''just in case".
Best option is to check the situation with Lulu.com.
