Q: Error Code NSPOSIXErrorDomain: 1

I am having issues Connecting to the internet on my Macbook Pro. I am running Mavericks. Safari or Google Chrome are working. They were working fine yesterday and now I can't get the computer to connect. I get the error code NSPOSIXErrorDomain: 1 I know the internet in my home is working fine because all of the other computers are connected and working well.
