Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

How can I stream music from my Android device to an iPod 4th gen that is on a dock?

As the title says, I want to play music directly from my Samsung Galaxy S4 mini to my iPod 4th generation, which I use to listen to music with at night on a Sony iPod dock. I can't find any way to do this without jailbreaking, and I do not want to jailbreak the iPod due to security risks in doing so.

I'm not looking for an argument over whether Android or iOS is better, I'm just looking for a friendly, civil answer. If this is impossible, however, I'd like to know why.

Also, I know that AirFoil was able to stream across iOS devices before Apple banned it, but was it able to go cross-platform?

Thanks in advance! 😀

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.1.6, Cross-platform music streaming
