Jun 5, 2014 11:30 PM in response to Rob2350by King_Penguin,What settings do you have on your iPad ? e.g. do you currently have Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music (under 'automatic downloads') set 'off' ?
If you mean that it doesn't show in the Music app on your iPad with the cloud symbol for downloading it then do you currently have Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music (under 'show all') set 'off' ?

Jun 6, 2014 1:51 PM in response to King_Penguinby Rob2350,My I pad is set for automatic downloads and updates for music. I am running the newest I tunes update..at least on my I pad. When I purchase a song on my I pod it goes to both devices, when I purchase with the same I tunes account on my I pad it does not transfer to my I pod.
I also cannot find my manage devices site...I gave followed all the directions several times, but I never see manage devices.

Jun 6, 2014 11:45 PM in response to Rob2350by King_Penguin,Do you have automatic downloads for music set 'on' on your iPod - for any music purchases to automatically download on your iPod you need that 'on' on the iPod.
The 'manage devices' section can only be viewed via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, you can't view it on an iOS device - and that section only allows you to view and/or remove devices/computers from a account, you can't use it to add a device/computer to an account (that is done directly on the device/computer).

Jun 7, 2014 6:43 AM in response to Rob2350by Rob2350,I have gone to that web site a dozen times on my I pad and never can find manage devices. So here is the bottom line...how do I make my I pad share new content with my I pod? There are on the same account and all my automatic downloads are turned on my I pad.

Jun 7, 2014 6:52 AM in response to Rob2350by King_Penguin,You haven't read my above reply properly - you can only view the 'manage devices' section on a computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, and that won't let you add a device to your account anyway, you can only use it to view and/or remove devices from it.
Do you have 'automatic downloads' turned 'on' on your iPod ? If you want purchases that you do on your iPad to also download on your iPod then you need to have Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music turned 'on' on your iPod. After you turn it 'on' on your iPod then any future purchases that you do on your iPad should also download on your iPod - for purchases that you've already done then you may be able to download them via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your iPod.
