iTunes Match won't work: Error -3231

I purchased iTunes Match and had it start working on my library of 10,000 songs. I got this error:


"We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-3231). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later."


I tried again, and got the same error. All my software is up to date. When I try to view iTunes match on my iPhone to see what uploaded, there is nothing there: no songs, no playlists, no nothing.

Thanks, that worked for me, too. I had tried signing out of my iTunes account, quitting iTunes, relaunching iTunes, and then signing into my iTunes account. That did not work.


However, your procedure -- signing out of my iTunes account, quitting iTunes, rebooting my Mac, relaunching iTunes, and then signing into my iTunes account did in fact work. After several days of iTunes bleating, "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-3231)", everything seems to be working normally again.
