Why won't my podcast icon/graphic show?

Graphic is 1400 x 1400

Your image is 600 x 600 px and is a generic Podomatic image

. Apple have now made it mandatory for images on newly submitted podcasts to be 1400 x 1400: make sure that the file size is less than 500kB. I don't know whether the generic image is there because you haven't submitted an image to Podomatic, or because it overrides your image to present its own.

You have larger images within each episode's tag, but these do not appear in the Store (except possibly as very small images in the Search results when individual episodes are found) nor when subscribing in iTunes.

I read your reply twice and I still have no idea what you are talking about.

The image I uploaded is 1400 x 1400 and is 172kb. I have submitted an image. It appears in the podomatic page if you would take the time to go there and view it (links provided above) you would not be asking this question as you would see the icon/graphic.

Both people who responded to my question had attitudes. Isn't there anyone on here who doesn't have an attitude when they are replying to people asking for help?

Is there a "These people/answers were NOT helpful option?" No, of course not.

I would say thanks, but neither of you helped me.

I wish you luck and no hard feelings, but I think I'll look elsewhere.

I have told you what the situation is, which I discovered by reading the feed, which is what matters, not the Podomatic page. The image which appears in the Store is referenced in the 'itunes:image' tag in the top section of the feed, and is a generic image which because it is 600 x 600 will not show in the Store. Given your attitude, I will leave you to solve the problem by yourself.

I solved it no thanks to either of you and your words are very unprofessional.

I never gave you or your co-worker an attitude.

Quote by you:

"I don't know whether the generic image is there because you haven't submitted an image to Podomatic, or because it overrides your image to present its own."

Then you wrote:

"I have told you what the situation is, which I discovered by reading the feed, which is what matters, not the Podomatic page."

1st you say it's the podomatic page then you said no, that's not it.

Please don't reply. I solved it on my own.

Again, no hard feeligns, but I would encourage you to be a bit more polite with those who come after me.

Cheers.

Just to let you know this is a user forum - anyone responding to you is doing so of their free time.

No one on here is an Apple employee. Roger and others are volunteers - your response / attitude was completely unwaranted and shows a complete lack of respect or gratitude to those trying help you for free.

I hope you do not treat everyone with such disrespect as you have shown here.

I never changed the graphic size or in any other shape or form. I left it as is @ 1400x1400.

Go to podomatic and under Publish:

1 Select media for your episode

2 Enter a title and description

3 Add an image (Be sure the image is laoded here)

5 Publish (When you hit publish, this should update. It might take iTunes several hours to rectify the situation.)

Good luck!!!!!
