How do I download RAW files from my Panasonic TZ60 camera

I have just purchased a Panasonic TZ60 which is able to save pictures in a RAW format, but when I try and down load then into either Iphoto or Adobe Elements 12 I get a message saying file damaged or not recognisable. I am able to down load jpeg files.

Macbook air, Mac OS X (10.5.5)

The RAW support is camera specific, and the RAW format of your camera is not (yet) supported by MacOS X. See this list of currently supported RAW formats: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5955 . Use the SILKYPIX software that came with your camera to develope the RAW files and export them in another lossless format like TIFF. (Download SILKYPIX Developer Studio for Mac - RAW photo ...)
