I've created a flow chart which includes a series of text boxes with text in each box.
I wish to copy and paste the whole page onto another sheet.
I select all, copy and then paste into a new document. Only it doesn't, I mean the page is not pasted into the new document.
Any advise will be appreciated.

Select all doesn't really select the Text and Shape boxes. These have to be separately selected and copy/pasted/positioned within your destination Pages ’09 document.
Is this a Mavericks flaw? When I copy several objecta at the sam time I can paste them into a new Pages 09 document and the also keep their positions if I made sure the text layer isn't clicked on (I nearly never use Pages Layout). If the text layer is cliked on I get all the objects inline. I am on Snow Leopard.

On Mavericks OS X 10.9.3. Pages ’09 v4.3, and Pages v5.2:
Let's say I have two paragraphs of text in a Pages ’09 document. There is a different Text Box embedded in each paragraph. If I select the entire document and copy/paste it into a blank Pages ’09 document (same template), only the main text, (but not the Text Boxes) is copied.
Same original document created in Pages ’09, but deliberately opened in Pages v5.2. Same procedure to a blank Pages v5.2 document. All content is copied to the new document, as it appears in the source document. When one does a select all, a bold outline appears around each Text Box as a hint that these will be copied too.
You can't select both text layer and objects, if they aren't inline, in Pages 09. You can get bot text layer and objects if the objects are inline and the will paste fine on a blank document. Don't know about Pages 5.
