Sorry, no. If you have forgotten your Restrictions passcode, you have to restore. If you are restoring to a backup, the backup must be one that was created prior to the Restrictions passcode being placed on the device.

Sorry,

Hi refarefa,

The Restriction Code is place on to enable restrictions for accessing various apps, functions, etc. (usually used to restrict children from getting into things or changing things they shouldn't).

If you do not have any restrictions turned on that are disabling your use of the device, then it doesn't matter if you cannot get into it. It does say "On" for Restrictions when you go to Settings>General>Restrictions, correct? If it says "Off", and is asking for a passcode when you enable it, it is just asking you to set the passcode you will be using to get into it later.

Restrictions has nothing to do with Find My iPhone. If you have Find My iPhone turned on under iCloud, then you can manage a lost or stolen device using either iCloud.com or by logging into the Find My iPhone app on another iOS device.

Cheers,
