my iPod shuffle does not shuffle songs. it plays the same one over and over. how do i remedy it?

I had the same issue. When a song is playing if you touch the screen where the picture of the album is you will get arrows and a genius symbol. the two arrows that form an oval may have the number 1 on them if so touch them and the number one will go away and your songs will play in order again.
