Q: Can I put an Aperture Library on an Apple Lion server

I have a Mac mini server, with Lion 10.8.5 on it and I want to put an Aperture Library on it so it can be used by multiple users. I f yes how do I do it? Thanks ron

    Yes you can put the library on the Lion Server - much like you would put the library in any drive/folder.  HOWEVER, Apple apparently does not support multiple concurrent (ie at the same time) users of the same library (aparently this leads to library corruption).  So by putting the library on the server, would only benefit your users were they to use the library at separate times (i.e. Consecutive use).  The best approach is to split the library into multiple individual libraries - with dedicated photos per library for each user.  Once all the changes have been made - then recombine the sublibraries into a master library again.
