Why won't it connect to my wifi?!

I downloaded iOS Maverick. After it downloaded and fully installed, it says it's not compatible with my Belkin router. My wifi network shows up but when I go to type in the password it will not even give me the option to join my network. I whole heartedly regret downloading this iOS. Is there any possible way to fix the issue and make it connect to my wifi?

Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3)

Hello mlizdavis

Sorry to hear about your frustration on getting online. It sounds to me like the settings of the router need to be looked at. Check to see what settings your router is using and compare them to the recommended settings in the first article below. If all is good there, the second article will provide some additional troubleshooting for your Mac to get online.
