I am unable to remove a places location pin from the information bar of a photo. Followed instuctions in help (Click the X that appears to the right of the name.The location name disappears and the location is removed from the photo or event.) There seem to be an issue. Im using a 3 day old Macbook 15 inc pro. Any sugestions thanks.

what version of iPHoto? Of the OS? how did the pin get there? What exactly are you wanting to accomplish?

IPhoto 9.5.1. The pin got there by accidently clicking the map. As it says I want to remove Pin/Place assigned to this particular photo. Clicking on pin and then clicking on x is not removing it as it should. as it is described in help as below,
Remove a location name from one or more photos or events
Do you see this black banner, when you open the Info panel for a photo?
It should appear, when you click the foot of the pin. The x should clear the lace. How far do you get, when you try this?
I have been doing exactly as you descibed but the x is not clearing location? This is the issue.
Try in "manage my places"
