Corrupted DMG

I am having problems downloading Xcode 6 beta. Repeated attempts always result in an unable to open image - file corrupted message. This happens on both my MBP and Mac Mini so I cannot attribute to a disc problem - notheless have run disk utily to verify disc and repair permissions with no joy. It also occurs when downloading via safari or Chrome. Downloads from other sites are okay (i.e updated MS Office with no problems) so don't think I can blame router/broadband problems.

Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem, which is frustrating as I've just signed up with the developer program and wanted to try out the new Swift language.

I think I've solved it (thanks Google!)

It might be a problem with Safari being used to download the Xcode beta, I switched to using Firefox instead and now it's installed and running successfully.

Bizarely i tried again yesterday and it worked first time on both my machines using Safari. I see you are in the UK - i wonder if it was a problem with either mirror server or ISP ( I use Virgin cable)

Yes I'm with Virgin as well. Glad it worked for you eventually. In case others have similar problems hopefully this little thread will help.

I have the exact same issue with the xcode 6 beta 3, I tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox and downloading on a different machine.

I either get an error message that the file is corrupted or the download does not finish...

Does anyone has an idea what I can do?

Experiencing same issue. Tried on multiple browsers. Does anyone have a checksum for the file?
