How to install a HP Laserjet 5100tn printer on my MacBook Pro (Mac OS X 10.9.3)?
It seems that there is no driver available, and I've seen some old printer running on latests OS.
Could you please help?

What happens when you try to add it to System Preferences/Print & Scan?

Can you describe the seemingness in more detail? What did you do; what happened; and what didn't happen?
What were the error messages?
The 5100 should run fine in Mavericks. In fact, it will run fine with a Generic PostScript PPD. No special "drivers" needed.
Hello,
On the PREFERENCES > PRINTERS AND SCANNERS window, the printer is here show as inactive, with a green light.
But when I try to print out (even a really light document), the light turns orange, saying that the printer is working.
On an other window, it says "printing on - connecting to the printer"... but nothing happens.
I've also tried with the driver rcommanded by Esquared… same non-result.
Could you please help?
It still doesn't work.
It says:

(loading bar)

And it could run like this for hours, nothing happens…
