iTunes Match says "Matching your music with songs from iTunes store". This will not finish. I cannot put any new songs on iTunes Match. This started today. It was working fine. I have deleted my entire library and I can't even get one song to go through. Thoughts? I've been working with this all day. I have uninstalled iTunes, downgraded iTunes, upgraded iTunes again. Finally, I erased all data...Libraries...playlist data, etc.. I'm extremely frustrated now. I had synced about 4,000 songs since September and it had been working fine. Any help would be great.

    Same exact issue.  Just started on the 10th.  I added a single new MP3 to my local library and it is still waiting to be matched.

    Well, clearly since there are 7 others so far that have this same issue, and you with it starting on the 10th like mine...it has to be on the iTunes end. I thought it might have been something that came from an update but I think I updated a few days prior to this issue starting. Maybe someone from Apple could shed some light on this.

    Yep same problem. I tries matching a few aac's and it got stuck on the matching process. Glad to see others are having the same issue, I thought it was just me!

    I have had similar issues, but I think it may be even weirder on my end. It isn't a global inability to match for me. I have added 63 songs since June 10. Of those 63, two have been uploaded and 46 have matched. The other 15 are stuck in Waiting limbo. I have tried converting them from AAC to MP3 and back, but that doesn't affect those 15. This is so strange to me.

    I think your right that it is not completely impossible to match any song, although I have tried several songs from several different albums and none have worked so far. The weird thing is is that I have the same Match account on two different computers, and when I match a song on one and it gets stuck, I can see it in my library on the other computer but its greyed out. Not sure what that means. It has worked perfeclty for me since I got it in March, so I'm hoping whatever it is gets sorted out by Apple. If it starts working for any of you please let me know in this discussion!

    I am having the SAME issue where it hangs on Step 2. It's making me nuts. APPLE better fix this SOON.

     

    Odd thing is that one album is still "waiting", since two days ago. Just for shiggles, i added another one, today, and THAT one was added just fine. I don't get it!

    a lot of people are having this issue.  it's all over the web.  twitter.  these groups, etc.  It's totally ridiculous.  Where is the email from Apple to its paid customers telling them what is going on and when it will be resolved?  I mean, the lack of communication is just totally baffling to me.

    Doing more experiments it seems I can add songs that iTunes can 'match' but if they're not matched it no longer allows them to be uploaded, and just sits there on the waiting status.

     

    Needs fixing Apple...

    Good to hear I am not alone and going crazy. I'm having the exact same issues as everyone else. Such a pain the A$$. I sure hope this gets fixed promptly.

    Add me to the list of people with this issue. Is it possible the latest iTunes update from the end of May is the culprit here?

    Hadn't considered that, but could be I guess. Would at least explain why Apple are reporting no issues (server side) on their status page.

     

    Anyone know how to actually log a support call with Apple?
