Q: Can I print with a cable from my Ipad5?

You can't

You cannot use a cable to connect your iPad to a printer. iPads use AirPrint to send print info wirelessly. The printer must either be a wireless printer or a printer connected by wire to your Wi-Fi router. In either case the printer must support AirPrint. Here's an Apple support page on AirPrint.
