MacBook Air heats up after recent update

I have made a suggested update (don't remember exactly what that was, but a gray loading bar appeared and the alert notified me that the fan will go on full speed for a while). After the update my MacBook Air heats up in the upper left side of the keayboard (It didn't before the update).

Why could this be?
