pause on 7th gen. ipod goes off with the slightest movement. It will run fine for an hour then start pausing all of a sudden.

Using my ipod for audio books. Lately it will work fine for about an hour then suddenly it will begin to pause at the slightest movement. Any thoughts as to why this is happening at this point. This is a 6month old 7th gen. ipod.

iPod nano, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Shutting down with movement sounds like a loose connector inside the iPod.

Make an appointment with Apple to take it in and have them check it out for you.
