I just got an iMac yesterday for school, and I can't access my homework page. It works on Google Chrome but with Safari I keep getting this message. I've been using a MacBook Pro until now and I've never had a problem with accessing the site. I've tried looking up similar topics but so far nothing suggested has worked for me. Can anyone help?

That rules out cache/cookies etc & any Safari settings. You may be able to get the site to load by switching User Agent in Safari's develop menu.
Make that visible from Safari - Preferences - Advanced, then use the Develop menu - User Agent item & choose Internet Explorer 9 or Firefox.
You can also usefully test using the Safari available in Recovery mode, since that eliminates any plug-ins & other OS settings which could be affecting it.
I'd try using a different browser : say Firefox.
By testing in Recovery you've eliminated all normal OS X settings & plug-ins, as well as any other extra software that could be involved... & yet the site stil has problems when accessed from that iMac.
Do you sign in without problems, then have trouble accessing some particular area ?.
I can access it on my MBP, my iphone, another iphone, and a PC. This new iMac just doesn't want to access the page for whatever reason. I'm assuming it's the computer over the school since I can access it through my other devices and a friend's device. Thanks for trying to help!

But it's an error on the school's server software, perhaps prompted by some aspect of the information sent by your iMac to their website. Switching user agents hasn't helped; software & settings have been ruled out : test with a different browser.
It works with other browsers. I mentioned in my original post that it was working with Google Chrome. It's just that I use Safari as my default and I'd hate to have to have Chrome just to access one website while using Safari for every other site.
Test in a new or Guest user account on the iMac.
It's an error at the server, rather than on your computer.
Does the MBP still work on the site ?. If so, is it the same OS X & Safari version ?.
The site works with Safari on my MBP. It's the same OS X and Safari version, too.
It still isn't working with the Guest account.
Switching the User Agent didn't help. I tried each one. This is getting frustrating, haha.
Just tried recovery mode and it still wouldn't let me access the site.
Yes, I can sign into the homepage but when clicking on the specific classes, it doesn't let me access only those sections. The rest of the site works fine as far as I can tell.
I see, it was just a thought that you might have been accessing specific links which only worked on one session or computer.
I can only suggest Firefox, & contacting the college.
