Q: why can't I drag media to intro media

I would like to drop a 10 second clip into the "intro media" section (where it says " drop movie/image here") itof the template.  Each time I attempt to drag the media nothing happens.  However If I try to drop media into the main text using widgets it will allow. 

What am I doing wrong.  Could it be that the application will allow only media or book cover but not both?
