Q: Exporting to DVCPRO HD in Premiere Pro CC

am using Premiere Pro CC on a PC and need to export to DVCPRO HD on my settings window for export I have the export settings as quicktime and in the middle of the window I select the Video Codec of DVCPRO HD 720p60 all other settings are set to their defaults as provided by premiere...once I comence to export all is ok but upon finishing and viewing the file on the PC I see the file but no video only audio.

But when I bring the video back into premiere I am able to view in the monitor with no problem....

Am confused...

thanks

Best to ask this question in the Adobe Premiere Pro for Windows forum.

    Good luck,

ok...for future ref to this question here is the result of the resolutions...

In Premiere Pro CC you can export selecting Quicktime and under the codec select DVCPRO HD....once exported if you try to view the video on your pc...even using Quicktime you may or may not see the video but the audio will be available...

If then you should try viewing in DivX or windows media player..if you still can't view the video but hear the audio then you should also try VLC player...one way to check is to take the video and re-import into Premiere and see if the video can be seen...that should give you a clue that the video was exported correctly and the only problem is that on your PC you don't have a player that has the proper codec to view the video.

    Thanks for your help....
